Buy Tarot Cards Revelations Tarot

Book Description
Publication Date: May 8, 2005
The Ultimate Solution to Tarot Reversals

Whether you're new to divination or an experienced professional, working with reversed Tarot cards is always a challenge. After all, the image is upside-down and everything appears, well, reversed. How can you possibly work with such inverted symbols?

Zach Wong has come up with the ultimate solution. He presents different symbolism on the bottom part of the card, so it appears upright when the card is inverted. This is like having a 156-card deck while only using 78 cards.

There is much more to this deck than just ease with reading reversals. All of the characters wear masks. This shows them to be similar to mythical deities who assume human form and stand among us to make their spiritual messages easier for us to understand. Similarly, they make the message of the cards easier to comprehend.

An Amazing Deck
"The Revelations Tarot was conceived in the midst of a journey of self-discovery... The start of a new millennium triggered a need to uncover and understand the self, and I turned to the language of the Tarot to uncover my own mysteries. However, the various decks that were available on the market...failed to connect with my inner being. I grew weary of my journey to try to find that one special deck with which I could conduct my own readings, and decided to venture on a sister journey to create one of my own." -Zach Wong Read More...

Buy Tarot Cards Tarot of the Magical Forest (English and Spanish Edition)

Book Description
Publication Date: July 8, 2008
Take a Tarot walk through an enchanted forest.
Throughout human history and across every culture, there have been legends, myths, and tales of talking animals. This delightful Tarot takes advantage of this by using animals on all of the cards, adding to the Rider-Waite-Smith symbolism that was already there.
The Major Aracana cleverly features sheep, lions, bears, pigs, hedgehogs, and kangaroos, adding a wonderful feel to the cards that is happy and basic. The Strength card, which shows a lamb and a lion nuzzling each other, has to be the sweetest version of this card ever. The Sun card shows a baby kangaroo in his mother's pouch in a field of sunflowers under a huge sun happily waving a little red flag with innocent, blissful joy.

Don't pass up this little gem!
I came across this Taiwanese deck a few years ago on ebay before it was released by Lo Scarabeo and fell in love with it's images. There is something very engaging about it's playful, bright and almost dreamy imagery that draw you in immediately. But what brought me back time and time again to using it in readings (both for myself and others) was the storybook like quality of the cards in layouts. The colors weave from dark to light, and from soothing greens and blues, to cheerful yellows and pinks; creating both contrast when opposed, and unity when placed together. Read More...

Buy Tarot Cards Deviant Moon Tarot

Deviant Moon Tarot
The Deviant Moon Tarot has surreal, very unique, and sometimes disturbing moonlit artwork. It's inspired by (and incorporates) images of cemetaries and mental asylums, and designed to illuminate deeper parts of the subsconscious. The talented illustrator is also a tarot student, and the deck is the result of three years of artistic work.

Most RW clones leave me cold--how many times can you repeat the same themes? It seems to me that with each derivation of the RW deck, the symbolism gets watered down. Read More...

Buy Tarot Cards The Gilded Tarot

Book Description
The Traditional Tarot for the 21st Century

Most Tarot decks with really spectacular designs are really just art collections. The Gilded Tarot transcends this limitation by having some of the most strikingly beautiful art on any Tarot deck, yet follows the Rider-Waite-Smith model. The result is a unique deck that any person with some Tarot experience will find instantly familiar and usable. This deck can be used with any Tarot system or book.

You really must see the cards to believe their beauty. The High Priestess dances on water in a translucent dress of stars. She bends backwards in front of a crescent moon, looking like a classic lamp from the 1920s. The Wheel of Fortune shows the zodiacal wheel around a solar center as part of a bizarre, almost alien machine. The Hanging Man follows this machine concept, but he is dressed in brilliant reds and greens.

Beautiful, classy and classic
This deck is visually stunning, and is currently my favorite deck. Symbolically it has depth, without being overbearing, or "guiding" too much. Since I am fairly eclectic in my reading style, I go much more for with the feel of a card and my gut, rather than any traditional meanings. Yet, this deck can please both types of readers. Everyone (highly traditional and not) who has seen this deck has wanted their own copy. Read More...

Buy Tarot Cards Golden Tarot Deck

Editorial Reviews
From the Author
Golden Tarot has been collaged completely from artwork of the late Middle Ages and early Renaissance.
From a time of violence, pestilence and oppression came poignant images of gentle beauty and human frailty.

They speak to me of a truth that is timeless, and hope that flowers even in the darkest conditions. I hope that they also speak to you.

- Kat Black, artist/author of Golden Tarot.

Stunning interpretation!
I was slow on getting around to this deck from 2003. In this sea of Tarot decks, it is difficult to choose. It seems this is the Golden Age of the Tarot! This deck presents the fascinating world of the late middle ages in painting. I could imagine the work involved gathering these images. Read More...

A remarkable reimaging of the Rider Tarot
This beautifully illustrated tarot is the creation of Stephanie Pui-Mun Law. The imagery in these cards exudes an ethereal quality like no other tarot that I have ever seen. In spite of the superb imagery, this deck doesn't depart much from the Rider Tarot tradition. Read More...

Editorial Reviews
Review
In 1909, Arthur Edward Waite encouraged Pamela Colman Smith to produce a tarot deck with appeal to the world of art that would have significance behind the symbols, and thus make the deck more important than tarot packs previously used for centuries. The result was the unique Rider-Waite Tarot deck which has endured as the world's most popular 78-card tarot deck. The innovative cards, including the 56 Minor Arcana, depict full scenes with figures and symbols. This featured, combined with Pamela Smith's ability to capture the subtleties of emotion and experience, has made the Rider-Waite Tarot the basis for the designs of many 20th Century packs. The Original Rider Waite Tarot Pack is a facsimile edition originally printed from palates that were destroyed during the bombing of London during World War II. The deck and book set comes complete and in full-color with original Tudor Rose back design, Celtic Cross divinatory chart, and The Key to the Tarot by Arthur Waite. -- Midwest Book Review Read More...
